HIV and Mental Health Listening Sessions
The Washington AIDS Education and Training Center (WA AETC) is excited to partner with the Northwest Mental Health Technology Transfer Center to design a community of practice series on meeting the mental health needs of people living with HIV in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

We invite you to attend one of our 2 listening sessions. Both sessions will feature the same content and format.

AUDIENCE:
These listening sessions are for providers, staff and administrators of health care organizations (hospitals, health centers, private practice) that provide medical care to people with HIV to participate in one of two listening sessions.

PURPOSE:
The aim of these open listening sessions is for providers and staff at HIV care organizations to:

a) share their experiences about the unmet mental health needs of the population they serve

b) describe what types of mental health services they are providing in their HIV practice setting

c) discuss the training and capacity building support they would be interested in receiving

Two different times are available to accommodate as many participants as possible.

If you have any questions regarding the listening sessions, please contact Victor Ramirez, WA State Training Coordinator, at vmrg1@uw.edu or 206-543-3319.
