We use Powerschool, rather than Skyward. The systems do not seamlessly “speak” to each other, unfortunately.

A question was asked earlier about staying 100% consistent from preschool all the way to 8th grade in their building. As you are hearing from the team, we have consistent messaging for all students. However, we are able to differentiate the specific expectations and what it looks like/sounds like based on grade level, because we do most of our instruction in grade levels or grade bands.
RinaMarie Leon-Guerrero
01:02:19
Lisa, thanks for putting that question and response back to all the attendees.
Cassie Martin
01:02:59
Good question in the Q and A. We can save it for the next Q and A break or can answer in the box
Lisa Horn
01:03:39
Yes, it is going to get answered in the next couple of slides.

Meadow Ridge this is awesome. You've done a great job responding to Q live so we think we cant spend less time on Q&A at the end. This also gives you time wrap up without rushing.

I really like rolling the pillars of characters into the teaching of school expectations, and then following up with a very robust rewards system.
Dorothy Lowes
01:29:57
We use SWIS to track behaviors and have all school rewards. I hope to have us implement the drawing of tickets. The weekly recognition would really help.
Shauna Rowe
01:30:11
Color coded tickets, limited amount per staff members, tracking, mystery rewards, multi-layered rewards and incentives for the school wide community. Thank you for sharing these examples!

01:32:30
I’m leaving this question for the end, because it fits with our “tier 2 and 3” slide and what’s next for us:
Lisa Horn

Q1: I really appreciate the effort that goes in to recognizing *all* students at some point during the year. Too many times, students are "hidden" or "forgotten" in favor of those who are more vocal or noticeable. Thank you for sharing the level of care you take to make that happen.
Jen Cole
01:47:26
The important consideration of planning for the next school year to include ramping up family and community engagement. PBIS can't just live within the school building when the school building is closed.
Kathy Bateman
01:47:35
You’ve given us the the book, it’ll be great to apply what fits best.

Q2: I really like the weekly drawings over announcements. More frequent, more visible, more exciting!
