Empathy, Engagement, and Organization: Findings on UW Students’ Experiences of Remote Instruction
Planning spring courses? Join UW-IT research scientists Janice Fournier, PhD, and Henry Lyle, PhD, as they present findings from 2020 course evaluations and surveys of students that were conducted by the GPSS/ASUW. This event will be of interest to anyone wanting a window into students’ experience during stressful times, and will support instructors as they plan for teaching remotely during spring 2021.

In addition to the research findings, Janice and Henry will provide guidelines and best practices for supporting students while they are learning remotely. We've published findings from the spring 2020 survey along with other related research here: https://itconnect.uw.edu/learn/research/learning-during-pandemic/

The event will also be recorded and posted online for those who cannot attend live.
